Why not become a member of the Transport Trust? Along with other preservation enthusiasts you would be part of an organisation that takes a lively interest in preserving our transport heritage - whether that be a railway locomotive, road going vehicle, ship or boat, or an aeroplane. We act as the hub of the preservation movement, working closely in an advisory and enabling role with preservation societies and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
What do I get as a member?
As a member, you receive a copy of our excellent magazine, ’Transport Digest’, four times a year. You are also invited to take part in the Trust’s visits - these unique itineraries allow members to view historic and modern transport sites, many of which are not open to the general public.
Membership entitles you to take part in our ’Travel Back’ scheme, with well over 100 historic collections and transport sites offering special entry terms to Transport Trust members.
Members also have exclusive access to The Trust’s unique and extensive libary of transport related books and other historical records. And, of course, you have access to the Members Only area of this website!
