By popular request, Jon Jolliffe invited any interested members to another in an occasional series of days out on London's transport network:

This year's plan was to explore the more obscure branch lines serving West London, past and present, including the Olympic Park (not that one; the 1908 games in White City) and various bridges over the Thames.

White City Stadium

A one-day Travelcard (or Freedom pass) covered the exploration, starting at Paddington at ~11:00 and ending at Victoria around 17:00. We took in three national rail cos, Underground (H&C and tube) and Overground plus a couple of bus rides for a change. Not much walking was required this time.

I led this trip on Tues 20th Sept, but if you'd be interested in another date please signify and we'll see what the demand is.
Replies to the office to book places and receive full briefing/ joining instructions.

Regards, Jon Jolliffe
