Brooklands Museum would like to extend an invitation to all owners of vehicles from British Marques to join them at the Museum on Sunday 4th March.

British Marques Day

Previously known as Austin Morris Day, they have decided to open the event to owners of any vehicle from a British Marque, to celebrate the rich history of the long-standing motoring industry in Britain. So, if you are the owner of a vehicle from Alvis to Wolseley, or Armstrong-Siddeley to Vauxhall, you are welcome to come and join them for the day.

They are offering the chance for drivers to take part in a cavalcade around the Mercedes-Benz World circuit at lunch time and then to take part in ascents of  the famous Test Hill during the afternoon. Registration for both of these activities will be on the day.

While at the Museum, everyone will have access to the displays of cars, motorcycles and aircraft and the new Aircraft Factory & Flight Shed exhibitions which are now open. Concorde will be open for the Concorde Experience and the 4D Theatre will be open for rides, including the Napier Railton around the Brooklands Circuit, Mike Hawthorn driving a D Type Jaguar around Le Mans or the Red Arrows during a display. What could be more British than those? (These are bookable on the day at extra cost.)

The café and other catering outlets will be offering a choice of great British foods during the day, and will of course offer somewhere to stop for a nice “cup of rosie lee”.

If your Club would like to reserve a space on site to display your cars in, then please contact the Events Team at Brooklands Museum to book it using the attached booking form. We are also offering a £2 discount on tickets for adults and seniors who would like to book and pay for these in advance.
