The Trust's 'Red Wheel' (RW) programme continues apace and a particularly attractive unveiling is scheduled for Saturday 23rd February at Ravenglass Station, Cumbria  (CA18 1SW) at 11:00am - when the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway will be operating for half-term.

The R&ER was the first public narrow gauge railway in England and, during the past 144 years, has carried both mineral and passenger traffic, on 3ft, standard and 15inch gauge lines.

The RW unveiling will be held promptly at 11:00am and be led by Eric Robson, author, broadcaster and Chairman of Cumbria Tourism.
As an added incentive for members and their friends to make the journey to the Lakes, the Railway is kindly offering a free train journey on the stunningly attractive line.

The Trust's representation at Ravenglass will be led by Trustee Paul Brook.  Please contact Paul on 01768 362161 / 07979 720466 if you plan to attend or have any queries.
