What we do

7822 "Foxcote Manor" is a preserved steam locomotive built by British Railways Western region in 1950 at Swindon. She was withdrawn in November 1965 from Shrewsbury and sent to Woodhams, Barry. She was saved from scrap by the Foxcote Manor Society in 1972 and restored to working order in 1987. She is currently in traffic at Llangollen and after a year of running has another busy year ahead. The Foxcote Manor Society exists to publicise and promote Foxcote Manor so that she remains a part of our Heritage Railway scene for future generations to enjoy.
